RESISTANCE Miami unveils full roster of talent for Race Week programming, continuing Season 1 of its debut U.S. Club Residency at M2 Miami

Jonny White and Kenny Glasgow, the original members of Art Department, will reunite for a rare back-to-back performance

ULTRA Worldwide’s esteemed underground concept RESISTANCE is heralded as the most international house and techno festival brand, boasting active events on all six inhabited continents. The dance institution’s global takeover has included programming stages at Ultra events in 35 cities internationally, tours across Latin America and Asia, and its residency in Ibiza at the world’s largest nightclub Privilege.

During Miami Music Week, RESISTANCE launched its inaugural U.S. Club Residency at the brand-new M2 Miami nightclub on Miami Beach. RESISTANCE Miami sold out all four Miami Music Week shows, which featured headliners like Carl CoxAdam BeyerSasha_John DigweedCharlotte de Witteand Joris Voorn.

Now, RESISTANCE Miami will continue its celebrated Season 1 residency at M2 Miami for Race Week, taking place across three nights from Friday, May 5 to Sunday, May 7, 2023 at M2’s sprawling two-floor, 35,000 square foot space. Previously home to Mansion, the historic venue recently underwent a massive multi-million dollar renovation.

RESISTANCE Miami Race Week 2023

Kicking off the second weekend of RESISTANCE Miami’s Season 1 Residency, Green Velvet and Claude VonStroke will perform a hypnotic back-to-back set under their collaborative moniker GET REAL on Friday, May 5. Fusing their distinct sonic styles, GET REAL showcases a different side of these iconic producers under their joint alias. RESISTANCE Miami will also feature a rare back-to-back set from Jonny White and Kenny Glasgow as Art Department. The Art Department reunion will mark one of the few back-to-back performances by the duo in eight years, following Glasgow’s 2015 departure from the project. Rounding out the hat trick of back-to-back sets will be Spanish tech-house titan Rafa Barrios and Parisian house legend Technasia.

On Saturday, May 6, Swedish techno icon Adam Beyer will return to the M2 Miami stage following his sold-out Miami Music Week Drumcode label takeover, which served as the inaugural Season 1 event for the RESISTANCE Miami Residency. The Drumcode label boss will be joined by Irish multifaceted techno maverick Matador and Polish melodic techno queen KASIA.

To close the Race Week programming, Belgian superstar Charlotte de Witte will follow up her unprecedented Ultra Music Festival Main Stage performance and highly-praised Miami Music Week M2 debut with yet another headlining set at the Miami Beach club. The Sunday, May 7 show will also welcome internationally-renowned Palestinian DJ/producer Sama’ Abdulhadi and multi-genre party starter Carlo Lio.

Across two cavernous floors, M2 is able to transport RESISTANCE’s signature, stadium-smashing production to a sultry club atmosphere. The debut season of RESISTANCE Miami will continue to showcase an elevated nightlife experience for both VIP guests and dance floor denizens, soundtracked by the world’s most in-demand house and techno maestros.

RESISTANCE Miami will continue its Season 1 programming at M2 with weekly Saturday parties this fall, kicking off Halloween weekend on Saturday, October 28 and running through the Closing Party on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
